Spring has sprung in Tennessee! The flowers are blooming and the sandals are coming out. I’ll be honest, I wore sandals the other day and my feet looked pretty sad- they had been cooped up in boots all winter and were in need of some TLC!
Inspired by the beautiful and blooming springtime, I made this super easy foot scrub to slough away that dead winter skin (so gross). The sugar and oatmeal gently exfoliate your feet and the oil leaves them soft and moisturized. After a long winter it’s so important to shed that layer of dead skin!
This beautiful scrub is so simple to make, smells amazing, and leaves your feet exfoliated and ready for spring!
What you’ll need:
- 1/2 cup of sugar (brown or white)
- 1/4 cup of oatmeal
- 1/4 cup of olive oil or coconut oil
- 20 drops of your choice of essential oil(s)
- 2 tablespoons of dried lavender (optional)
I chose to use a mix of lavender oil and Ameo’s “determination” blend. It created such a beautiful and fresh scent. The dried lavender also added to the lovely lavender fragrance.
Making this scrub couldn’t be simpler; just mix all your ingredients together and store in an air tight container.
The texture of this foot scrub is amazing because it exfoliates so well while still being very gentle and moisturizing. The oatmeal really helps to soften and moisturize.
You could even use this scrub to exfoliate your legs before you shave and have super smooth and soft legs!
I hope you get a chance to try out this easy foot scrub and let your feet shine in those sandals! My feet are much happier for sure. 🙂
Is it sandal weather yet where you are?? Let me know in the comments!
