I am a huge fan of essential oils and I love keeping my room fresh with a linen spray.
I’m going to show you a seriously easy way to make a great linen spray that will freshen your bed, linens, and curtains, and even just be used as a general air freshener. It has zero chemicals that most air fresheners contain, and only 3 ingredients!
What you’ll need:
- A small spray bottle
- rubbing alcohol or vodka (this helps the scent linger)
- essential oils of your choice*
*For my linen spray I wanted to make a calming scent, so I chose Rosemary and Lavender essential oils.
Add about 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol or vodka, and 15-20 drops of your essential oils. Some oils smell much stronger than others, so use your judgement for how many drops you use. I used 10 drops of lavender and 5 drops of rosemary, since rosemary oil is very potent.
And that’s it! Give your bottle a shake and spray away.
This spray can be used in almost every room in your house. I usually give the linens in my room a spray before I leave in the morning and I come home to a fresh-smelling room. You could even make one for your car! (Lord knows our cars could always smell better.)
Let me know what your favorite essential oil blend is!
